Church marketing cartoon

[Click here for a larger version]

Inspired by your comments in the previous few posts I’ve come up with a cartoon on the subject of marketing a church. Click here to see a version you can actually read. It’s available for re-use by subcribers as explained on the larger-version page.

Update: Welcome to readers from Church Marketing Sucks, titusonenine and Maggi Dawn’s blog among other places. Thanks for dropping by!

You are an evil genius! How did you know our church has been working on a new sign????!!!! (roof has now been fixed but a couple of years ago…. oh dear!)

  4. Kathryn says:

HAving sat at a meeting last night during which we all shared an unspoken subtext that our magazine is appalling, and not something you would ever offer to someone outside the church, this had almost too much ouch to make me laugh. Almost…but not quite :-)

    Niiice.

luv it! The church in the cartoon reminds me of the church I grew up in. It even looks like it, but more importantly, you represented them well (er, accurately…)

It would be wonderfully funny,…. if it wasn’t painfully true.
