Washing machines and rich tea biscuits

I saw on the television that in China one can flick a switch on ones washing machine to allow it to wash vegetables. They’ll be here before too long apparently. I think perhaps there might be a lot of money to be made thinking up new household appliances that can undertake several tasks – feel free to suggest any in the comments, though of course I reserve the right to steal your idea and make my millions. [Note: comments are still on a moderated setting for people who haven't posted before, so your comment may take a few hours to appear.]

Meanwhile SteveTom starts a debate on chocolate-coated rich tea biscuits.

Apparently, you can cook fish in a dishwaher. The fish has to be in one of those microwaveable plastic bags, and I’m told it cooks perfectly on the cutlery rack.

    I haven’t tried it.
