The Flaming Fire Illustrated Bible

Yesterday I came across the Flaming Fire Illustrated Bible, a project which aims to illustrate every single verse of the Bible. They aren’t doing too badly, 3172 illustrations complete; 33493 remaining at the time of writing. There are a mixture of cartoons and illustrations and as one might expct with such a large number of artists the quality is slightly variable. That said it is a tremendous undertaking and its quite interesting to see how some of the verses have been interpreted. It’s not a specifically Christian project, though the FAQs state that “We like the Bible, and we like spiritually minded people”. Even so some readers may not find all the pictures to their liking.

Almost interesting, but moreso frightening. I believe I peed myself reading “The Dullest Blog”. I was either very frightened or my foot was falling asleep. Either way I felt a strange creepy feeling and a warm liquid spreading throughout my pant leg. But that may have been my Orange-Strawberry-Banana juice. Either is horrible enough to incite depression. Alas, I am intrigued. I would give commendation but, I’m afraid that it is not my place to do so. Nonetheless, I will compliment…. Very nice… almost interesting. Thank you for the experience, Dave (?).
