National Election Day

I won’t be voting today I’m afraid to say. I’m very disappointed in the fact as I think its a very important thing to do. Unfortunately I moved house at just the wrong time – too late to register here, and whilst I did investigate a postal vote the good folks over at Windsor and Maidenhead Borough Council didn’t make it a very easy thing to find out about. But at the end of the day I have to blame my own slackness in not persevering.

Who would I vote for? Almost certainly the Green Party, for the same reasons as Charles. I can understand the view that says there isn’t much point (Jonny’s post today), but I tend to disagree.

Update on the white black ash bookcase: After 4 coats of white paint it’s looking pretty fine. Those of you who can make it to the Christian Resources Exhibition will be able to admire my handiwork.

Update on various deliveries and sundry matters: My PO box now works, my greetings cards are printed and my Viking order arrived swiftly and flawlessly. Unfortunately my Staples order was a shambles from start to finish and no sign of the greeting card envelopes and plastic covers. But there’s still time.
